With the Artesyn™ iHP series we present you an intelligent and flexibly configurable high performance system for a wide range of applications. The modular power system convinces as a programmable voltage or current source with a high energy efficiency, precision and reliability over a long service life.

The Artesyn™ iHP series has international safety approvals for industrial and medical technology. The system meets the needs of a variety of applications, some of which are listed below:

/// iHP – Modular System

The iHP series delivers up to 24kW of power in 3 kW increments and can be configured with a wide range of plug-in modules for different voltages and currents with up to eight outputs. These modules can be connected in series or in parallel and achieve a very precise voltage and current distribution.




The rugged power rack offers active Power Factor Correction (PFC), excellent EMC properties and a low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) over a wide load range. For certain types of loads and applications, three different compensation methods can be programmed: resistive load, capacitive load, and LED load (high voltages for series-connected LED strings).

The high-power system is available as iHP12 (up to 12kW) with four bays and as iHP24 (up to 24kW) with eight bays. The user can configure the iHP system on the input side for connection to a single-phase or three-phase power supply.

The 100% digitally controlled iHP series provides an analog or digital interface to your system and supports the standard communication protocols CANbus, Ethernet and RS485. It can be used to control and monitor all functions of one or more iHP systems using Artesyn's graphical PowerPro GUI. The PowerPro interface also allows you to graphically create scripts to write your own process control routines.
