AC/DC DIN rail power supplies

DIN-Rail PSU with DNV GL / ABS

International safety certifications
for industrial and maritime applications

The particularly compact and highly efficient DRM DIN Rail PSU series with precisely regulated 24V output convinces in worldwide use in industrial and maritime applications. Equipped with an AC wide-range input and an active PFC, the robust DIN rail power supplies also meet IEC/EN 61000-3-2, Class A with regard to compliance with harmonics current.

In the extended operating temperature range of -25...+70°C, the DRM series delivers full performance without derating from -25...+60°C at 5000 m. Cold start is possible from -40°C. The high-quality protective coating on the printed circuit board protects against dust and chemical pollutants. In addition, the product contains an integrated DC-OK contact and an LED display for DC-OK / Overload.

/// Advanced Power Boost (APB)
In addition to a Power Boost of 150% for 7 seconds, the DRM series has an Advanced Power Boost function (APB). Within a multiple loads connection, APB can detect a faulty current path and provide a large outrush current to trip the circuit breaker connected to the faulty path. This prevents the system from shutting down while the other connected current paths continue to operate without interruption.

/// Safety approvals for industry & maritime
In order to meet the requirements for industrial environment and ship certifiers, the DRM power supply series was developed and certified in accordance with the most important safety standards for industrial applications and maritime transport (Lloyd's Register), including DNV GL (Germanischer Lloyd) and ABS (American Bureau for Shipping).

/// High reliability and many years of operation
In addition to an extraordinarily high MTBF of around 1.5 million hours, the DRM series is characterized by the high quality of its components. With 24/7 continuous operation, the electrolytic capacitors used have a maximum lifespan of up to 131,400 hours (15 years). Detailed information on this can also be found in the respective data sheet.
